ISLAMABAD: On the eve of Press Freedom Day, Samaa Television sacked its chief reporter in Islamabad along with another reporter and a cameraman Friday.

Insiders say the three were terminated abruptly and without assigning any reasons.

Last October the channel had fired an assignment editor, copy editor and a non-linear editor from its Islamabad office, the management also not citing any reason for those sackings.
