ISLAMABAD: Samaa Television has sacked three of its staff members in Islamabad, among them  assignment and copy editors.

Insiders tell JournalismPakistan.com that a non-linear editor was also fired, the management not citing any reason for the sackings.

There are indications that some reporters may also be booted out in the days ahead.

Samaa was in the news back in July when their talk show host Jasmeen Manzoor accused the management of not supporting her when her life was in danger. She eventualy quit and joined Abb Takk Television.
