ISLAMABAD—On Tuesday, former Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry blasted Dawn newspaper for running news about the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) expressing its inability to hold general elections in three months.

In a tweet, Chaudhry said this media group reported that PTI is planning to bring thousands of supporters to the Red Zone for a bloody conflict. “Now they have reported that ECP has refused to hold elections. They publish false news daily and have no shame.”

The former minister also tagged the denial of the ECP.
