SUKKUR — Senior journalist and President of Sukkur Press Club, Javed Memon passed away at Gambat Institute of Medical Science in District Khairpur here on Tuesday.

His colleagues say, he had a liver disease which he fought for a long time.

Journalist Riaz Mengal remembered him as a brave and upright journalist who was always willing to help others.  

Member National Assembly (MNA), Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Senator Islamuddin Shaikh, and others expressed their deep sorrow over his demise.

In separate condolence messages, they prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
