ISLAMABAD—Samaa TV management has decided to give employees extra salary as a bonus on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Arshad Ali Umar, a court reporter with Samaa, paid tributes to the channel management on Twitter: "The Sama TV deserves all appreciation for this commendable act in the favour of its employees."

Sports reporter Qadir Khwaja also expressed his gratitude for the TV management, especially tagging owner Abdul Aleem Khan and CEO Naveed Siddiqui. According to him, he was proud to be part of the Samaa TV family.

In response to the social media post, other journalists also lauded the commendable initiative by Samaa TV. They said that the rest of the TV channels and media outlets should also offer their employees a one-month salary as a bonus.
