Waqar Zaka serves legal notice on Dunya News

ISLAMABAD - Prominent showbiz host Waqar Zaka has served a legal notice on Dunya News seeking Rs one billion in damages for a story against him.

Zaka said on Twitter: "Dunya News claimed that Waqar Zaka should be arrested for promoting Crypto - Legal Notice issued to @DunyaNews for their fake bogus story against me."

According to him, any news platform posting incorrect information or defaming words will face court.

A hashtag was also trending on Twitter #ShameonDunyaNews where Twitter users condemned the media group.

The showbiz personality has urged the government to regularize cryptocurrencies.
