"Journalist Ahmad Noorani's wife Ambreen Fatima's car was attacked by two unidentified men and her car's windscreen was broken. This comes days after Noorani's report on Saqib Nisar. Noorani has previously been a victim of assault," Hamza Azhar Salam, founding editor of The Pakistan Daily, tweeted.
Fatima and her children were in her car when some unknown persons struck the vehicle with an iron rod and shattered the car's screen. Reportedly, they also threatened her with dire consequences.
Ghaziabad police station registered a case of the incident. According to the FIR, the complainant mentioned that she was associated with the journalistic community and worked for Nawa-i-Waqt.
