PESHAWAR: Offices of several media organizations including those of Jang and The News have moved out of Badshah Towers over security fears.
JournalismPakistan.com correspondent in Peshawar says that Geo TV are currently in the process of packing up from the building.
The News, Jang and Nai Baat newspapers have shifted to Deans Trade Centre a short distance away, a location considered quite secure.
The banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) warned last month they would attack media houses and journalists for criticizing them in the wake of child education activist Malala Yousufzai’s shooting by the Taliban.

Other organizations that have relocated from the tower in Super Market are Intermedia, Internews and Centre for Research and Security Studies (CRSS).
