May 29, 2012: A Samaa TV crew is assaulted by medics at Lahore General Hospital while filming a family's complaint with permission from the DMS. The medics, also snatch the crew's camera, leaving the journalists bruised and cut.
May 23, 2012: Two members of a Dunya TV crew are injured in a shooting at an Awami Tehrik rally led by Rasool Bux Palejo in Karachi. The rally is against the potential partition of Sindh and the ongoing operation in Lyari. Ten people were killed, and several vehicles were set on fire during the attack.
